A support group for parents of neurodivergent tweens & teens (Maine registrants only)

Do you suspect that your child could argue in front of the Supreme Court? Is "no" their default response? Do you regularly have to anticipate temperature, sound levels, brightness, and/or smells of the places you visit? You are not alone!

These six week psychoeducational classes & support groups are intended for parents of neurodivergent and other emotionally intense children, whether they have a clear neurodivergent (ADHD, Autism, Gifted, etc) label or just experience the world in a more intense way than their peers.

Riding the Waves

Weekly, Tuesdays, 4-5p Eastern (via Zoom), starting April 29th

Registration & Cost

Classes will run for 6 weeks

  • All sessions will be held via Zoom

  • Individual registration will be $250 for the full series

  • Co-parent registration will be $425 for the full series

These 6 wk online education & parent support classes will be held online via Zoom, and will cover:

  • why our kids behave the way they do

  • understanding masking, demand avoidance, rejection sensitivity, sensory overload, & common mood issues

  • setting responsive boundaries & improving collaboration

  • celebrating our kids' strengths in a world that can be overwhelming for them

Registration is limited to 15 participants (minimum 5) to allow participant discussion.

Managing Storms

Weekly, Mondays, 11:30a-12:30p Eastern (via Zoom), starting April 28th

Registration & Cost

Classes will run for 6 weeks, starting Monday April 28th (skipping Memorial Day, 5/26)

  • All sessions will be held via Zoom

  • Individual registration will be $250 for the full series

  • Co-parent registration will be $425 for the full series

These 6 wk online education & parent support classes will be held online via Zoom, and will cover:

  • understanding & managing responsive boundaries to reduce resentment

  • using declarative language to foster cooperation & increase validation

  • implementing low demand parenting approaches to reduce conflict

Registration is limited to 15 participants (minimum 5) to allow participant discussion.

Staying Buoyant

Weekly, Mondays, 1-2p Eastern (via Zoom), starting April 14th

Registration & Cost

Group will run for 6 weeks, starting Monday April 14th (skipping 4/31 & 5/26)

  • All sessions will be held via Zoom

  • Individual registration will be $250 for the full series

  • Superbill will be provided at participant’s request with diagnosis appointment

This 6 wk parent support classes will be held online via Zoom, and provides further support to:

  • discuss challenges of parenting neurodivergent tweens & teens

  • meet our own emotional needs to remain calm, while setting boundaries

  • practice declarative language to foster cooperation & increase autonomy

  • manage co-parenting and communication with others

Registration is limited to 8 participants (minimum 5) to allow participant discussion. Open to Maine residents only at this time!
